Easter Dresses

Oh sure they're cute now. You should have seen them after we got home from church. Hoowah. And if you're wondering why Lily's always trying to show the camera her bottom, well... I've got nothing for you. She's strangely proud of her tush . Can't blame her really. Thanks Grandma Scholdei for the cute dresses. You were right, Lily did try to eat the flowers. And they were delicious.

Claire's shirt--Best Bunnies. Lily has one too. Yes, we're those kind of parents. The matchy matchy ones. Aunt Heidi came to Easter dinner and brought presents! Again, life could not get finer.

Seriously people. Eggs with candy? LIFE DOES NOT GET FINER. I think this year for Christmas we're forgoing Santa and just doing the eggs again. Because I don't think she could possibly love anything more.

Welcome Claudia!

Claudia is the newest member of our family. She's from Colombia and will be staying with us for the next year. She'll be taking classes and helping me with the girls during the day. She's sweet, kind, smart, and very very easy to be around. We love her so much already. As many of you know it's been a bumpy ride for us this past year or so but we finally feel that we're getting back on our feet and that things are only going to get better and better. Claudia is such a blessing in our lives. We truly have guardian angels watching over our family (on earth and above). We would be in a very different situation right now without your prayers, support, and continuous love. Thank you family and friends for always being there for us. We love you so very much.

Lily's a princess. A princess who believes in kissing frogs (albeit disgruntledly)in hopes of... becoming a fairy?! Is the magic broken? Or did she really just want wings?

In the first pic she even looks like a Russian, what with the sour face and angry eyes and all. (Just kidding. Okay not really.) But she really is adhering to Russian culture when sucking on the knob, for I have countless pictures of myself whispering sweet nothings into giant statue ears and kasha pots in hopes of securing my heart's dearest wish while in the Mother Country. Hey, the natives said it worked and I'm married to Joseph aren't I? Don't knock tradition. I'm pretty sure Claire's fondest desire in this picture is for more fruit snacks. And hey! What's that she's holding in that last picture? Interesting.

Claire's a chef. For she cannot cook in her kitchen without wearing her hat. Lily loves to eat her turkey. It's simply delicious.

And every girl needs a little luvy in times of sleepiness. Claire dreams of Elmo amidst pink blankies and Lily wants to find a prince. Or she just likes kissing frogs. It could go either way.
