Cherub

Trouble and strawberry puffs

Addiction starts off with just a few puffs. No one thinks they are a puff addict.
When Claire fell silent in the kitchen I knew we were in trouble. Claire is never quiet in the kitchen. In the last picture she's ignoring me and hoping I'll do the same to her.

Rockin the yogurt

Life is so much easier now that she feeds herself. Right.

Lily's friends

Ramona, you must live here.

This post is for Joseph's cousin Ramona, who is also one of my dearest friends. She's in Utah right now with family and I desperately want her to move out to our area so that we can play! They're looking for DC jobs right now and we want them to be our neighbors.
This is a picture of a single park 10 minutes from our house. There are four playgrounds (each designated for different age groups), two sets of swings, and a bike trail. It is awesome. I'll admit, there were two felonous little tikes who tried to steal our camera (evil eye and sharp reprimand from me) but other than that, good good times!

Little blue dress

Lily loves her new blue dress. Thanks Fetgatters!

Rockin the solid foods

Claire will stuff as much food as possible into her chipmunk cheeks before the thought of chewing and/or swallowing occurs to her. It usually doesn't end well.

Daddy daughter sleep

She likes to sleep on dad. Or by dad. Or if dad's not around, on dad's pillow. Buddies.

I am big. They are small. They win. I lose . . .

Joseph came home from work and after a hug and a kiss I headed to my comfort corner where I found the need to rock quietly. Claire joined me after a few minutes. Between Lily's colic and Claire's teething . . . let's just say the Nexium I'm taking for the ulcer I've developed is warranted.
