Floppy hat

I know, her cuteness pains me. And frightens her father. Sorry for the delayed update, we're having software problems with our camera. With Claire's prowess for technology though, I'm sure we'll have it fixed in no time.

Claire is crawling up a storm these days and still isn't showing any signs of giving up her fascination with feet. And her tongue. She sticks it out all the time now.

She's also going to be a big sister in July (my actual due date is the first week of August, but who are we kidding?). We're having a little girl and looking at getting a very manly dog for Joseph. That's what you get when you grow up in a house with seven brothers and no sisters. I myself had three brothers and no sisters. The universe is evening itself out. We're very excited.

Green button magic

They send the smallest printer repair people these days. Claire knows that when she pushes the green button on the printer it produces paper for her to mangle. I now turn it off until it's needed and ooh that angers her. She still searching for the power button. It's only a matter of time. . .

Such a poser

I seriously don't know how she knows what the camera is, but she does, and she turns it on whenever it's aimed at her. Watch out Gerber baby.

Can you see my teeth?

Fun with toys

Why play in them when you can play under them? Claire treats her exersaucer like her own private hut. She loves to crawl underneath it and play with toys. Small people like small places. She tried to crawl into her diaper box the other day. Yeah, not so successful. She's not that small.

Playing with cousin Lydia

Lydia is Claire's cousin and they are only five days apart in age. We have regular play dates and I don't know who has more fun, Claire and Lydia or their moms.

I'm standin in a crib, just standin in a crib . . .

Claire pulls herself up to a standing position everywhere. It's fun but now she's even more belligerent about going to bed. To show her disdain towards us when put in this mini-prison, she takes all of her pacifiers that we've strategically placed throughout the area and chucks them across the room. When we come in later she's defiant and happily proud of her accomplishments. Right, so I forgot to mention the attitude that apparently comes with standing. Good times.
