Do you like my hat?

Claire loves this hat. It used to be a bag that held Lily's baby sling. But Claire loves it because it makes her feel French and insists on wearing it from time to time. I can't blame her really.

No one does fun like dad

We three girls have been through our share of sick this past month. Bronchitis, Pneumonia, RSV, Rota Virus (which I always want to call Hanta Virus, but no we're not dead, so Rota), and like a gajillion colds to name a few. As such Joseph stayed home for a week or so to take care of the sick and afflicted. Neither wanted to be put down unless it was to make huts!

Smiles, smiles, and more smiles

Never in my life have I met a happier baby. Lily smiles all day long. So far she's lovin her time on earth.

Monkey?

"WHHEEEE" is usually never a good sound

Lately Lily's become quite high maintenance when it comes to naps. She needs to be fed in a quiet dark room and then rocked for 5-10 minutes until she dozes off. Riiight. I have a toddler so this is of course NO problem. Sometimes I'll try and accomplish this feat in the laundry room (which is right off the kitchen) while Claire plays with her toys right outside the door. The other day I was feeding Lily on the washing machine when I heard "WHHHEEEE." Never good people. This is never ever good. I rushed out to find Claire swinging like a maniac in little sister's swing ON THE TABLE. Lily doesn't swing in a regular device, but rather in a miniature version on the table so big sister doesn't climb in with her. Claire has coveted Lily's forbidden magical ride from day one. This scenario means that sleep training may be coming sooner rather than later for the littlest monkey. Sorry luv.

Duds and smiles

Joseph's Kirkland co-worker and friend Lisa gave Lily a package filled with cute cute clothes. And I keep meaning to take pics of her in them but by the time I remember she's usually well, not so clean. Here's one of my favorites. Cozy cozy.

Nakey time and peas

Kisses for the peas! In the last pic she's lovin her some vegetables. This pic was taken a few weeks ago during a period when she would eat things besides cereal. Sigh. Those were good days.

Chillin on the beanbag

Lily loves to hang out on the beanbag. Correction. Lily loves to hang out on the beanbag when Claire's not jumping on it.

I love my mummy

Thanks Gordienkos for the cute Halloween clothes! Lily digs her duds very much.

The fans are getting hostile.

Hi all! Yes I know. It's been a month (A MONTH!) since I've updated these pics. And the natives are getting hostile. (That's you.) I'm starting to receive threats and yes they are deserved. We've been crazy crazy sick and well before that I was crazy crazy lazy. So heh. Sorry about that. I promised Heidi I'd update today (I don't think this is what she meant) but forgot until right now, but hey a promise is a promise. So I love you all and there will be pictures by the end of the week. Just call off the picketers. Much love from the sticks!
