I'm so big!

The joy one derives from riding in the grocery store shopping cart cannot be paralleled. She's getting so big! Today was her first ride and she loved it. Don't ask me why I had my camera at the grocery store... She also figured out crawling this morning. Good times. One minute she was just sitting there and the next she was across the living room. I watched delighted and somewhat horrified. Our lives have been changed forever...

Watching the snow

It's snowing again here and I can't decide what's more fun, watching the snow or playing with my toy monkeys. What can I say about the monkeys, light cleaveth unto light.

I'm a helper

I don't like to let mom out of my sight, even for a moment. So instead I help when she's getting things done around the house.

My new favorite friend!

I've discovered the mirror. Mom's always looking for new ways to keep me entertained while she gets things done and this is my new favorite spot. I will laugh with myself for a good 45 minutes. Yesterday when mom and dad were getting ready I felt so much affection for my new friend I started giving her kisses. Mom and dad have the love fest on video. They've never seen anything cuter.

Crawling School

I'm so close to crawling. Mom and dad have started a crawling school for me--I have no idea why they want me mobile. I think they're a little nuts. I still don't quite understand the logistics of what I'm supposed to do, but I'm close. Usually I end up on my belly making swimming motions and grunting. I'll get there...

Fun with a cup

You would not believe how many toys I have. It's a little crazy. Some play music, some stack, some rattle, some are designed to improve my coordination and learning capabilities. My favorite toy... an orange cup. That's right, orange cup. My parents are befuddled.

I love my bear

Grandpa Sorenson gave me this bear for Christmas. I love it so much I sleep with it whenever I nap and when I go to bed at night. Sometimes when I'm supposed to be sleeping I talk to myself and play with my bear instead. Naughty.
