I don't really care much for rice cereal and would fight mom whenever she tried to get me to eat the nasty stuff. But she finally took some advice from Grandpa Sorenson and mixed in some applesauce. Yummm.... I cleaned my bowl!
Yesterday was a big day for Claire. I hate to brag (okay maybe it doesn't bother me so much) but she's a genius. She's figured out how to pick up her binky and put it in her mouth-- and 50% of the time it's going the right direction. It took some tries and cheering from mom and dad but over time her intellectual prowess triumphed. I would be lying if I said that she still doesn't put it in her eye from time to time, but even the greatest of minds falter every once in a while... We're very proud.

You cannot begin to imagine the sounds this thing makes. If Claire didn't love it sooo much... Wow, is all I can say. But alas she does love it and it's great fun to watch her bounce around all happy. When she jumps the lights blink and the boingee music plays. That's right, boingee music. Think Tigger on drugs. She then gets really excited and jumps harder. It's hysterical. We usually have to take a little break after about 10-15 minutes because of overstimulation, but I tell you, those are a good 15 minutes of fun. I'm thinking about getting Joseph a larger version for Christmas. It's what our living room really needs right now, one more crazy colored apparatus/toy.

Today Claire sampled rice cereal for the first time. I'd say she ate rice cereal for the first time, but I'm not actually sure that any of it ended up in her. On mom, yes. All over Claire? Definately. In Claire? Debatable.
