We blessed Lily August 5th and then had brunch at our house with some friends. Aunt Heidi (who really is a part of the family) arrived early to help the girls get ready (Okay, so she really just arrived on time and had no idea she was going to be thrown into the whirlwind craziness of trying to get two babies dressed, fed, changed, and out the door before we missed the blessing completely . . . but she's a good woman and an incredible friend so she jumped right in and we arrived at church on time).
My dad came out and stayed with us for a week, and I don't think that he liked being around his grandbabies at all . . . I had to pry them away when he left for the airport. He's still bitter that I wouldn't let them fly home with him. We have different ideas of "share."
Lily struggled with a severe case of Jaundice her first two weeks here. So... she sunbathed and became very familiar with blue lights. She and Claire will be able to swap stories when they're older.
I know what you're wondering. Does the rocket make crazy loud sounds? Why yes. Yes it does. Every. time. you. move. it. Claire uses it as a walker. Good times. And yes, you can get stuck in the tube.
